jOpenSim Install problems!!! Is it still working?

What are the center coordinates of your regions?

By default, jOpenSim centeres 1000,1000 ... so if your regions are somewhere else, this area most probably just showing ocean

In jOpenSim global settings map tab, you have the possibility to define the default homeX and homeY of the map.

But also in the view (= when you create the menu item for the map) you can set individual map center positions in the tab "Custom map center".

I did play with the position already. I took the inworld position to center my home region what is x130 y118.
This did not work.

Then I looked up the database tabel of the region and the region has the values locX 1280256, locY 1280512.
This did not work either.

Not sure what coordinates to use.

I also checked my googel api code and filed this into the Embed Google Map settings. All in there...

x130 y118 are coordinates on the region and locX 1280256, locY 1280512, coordinates on the map. If you divide locX 1280256, locY 1280512 by 256 you can know the coorinates to center your map ... is x = 5001 and y = 5002

I did try 5001,5002 too and did not work.

I nuked all joomla, re-installed it, re-installed jOpenSim and now it works with this settings! So cool!

Just have to fix my group stuff and get a cool webtemplate.

Well, whatever I try I can´t get group search to work.

I am using V2 Groups in Opensim.ini. I just thought maybe jOpenSim can´t do V2 yet so I activated both Modules (GroupsModul). As storage provider I do have MySQL. In the database I do have os_groups_groups as table and data is in there of groups.

I did also recognize that I can´t get "Get Opensim version" in the Admin Menu. Maybe it is related?

Error: OpenSim did not answer (not sure if the message arrived there)

Send message to region does also not work. It just sends nothing.

Remote Client is configures as suggested in the settings on a free port (9200). Not sure it is all related or not. But when I get those probs fixed I think I have a fully working jOpenSim.

Does the Radmin Command "Send a message to all regions" work properly ?

Yes, I could get this to work now. Password to remote client was wrong...

Pure beginners luck

I can send now messages to region and I can get the Opensimulator version.

Groups do not list. Still a problem I suppose in my settings. I think I will try to go back to the initil group modul and skip V2 for now. Then I will see it will work with the default groups modul.
