Huhu,
Ich habe folgendes Problem. Ich habe einen Win WebServer 2008 mit Plesk SmallBusiness10. Dort habe ich mir den Robust service konfiguriert und gestartet, und auch die Ports 8000,8001,8002,8003 freigegeben im Plesk. Wenn ich nun meinen HippoOpenSim viewer öffne, und dort ein neues Grid einfüge dann meine login URI eingebe: <a class=\"postlink\" href=\" deluxe-estate.eu:8002/\ "> deluxe-estate.eu:8002/ und auf \"Get Info\" drücke kommt das er die Infos nicht bekommen kann. Auf dem Win Server läuft alles ohne Probs. Beim starten der Robust kommt auch keine fehlermeldung oder ähnliches.

Weis jemand woran das liegen könnte?

Welcome to the forum. Well, this sounds like a networking problem more than anything else. Firewall on both ends? did you check to verify that your local machine and the server both allow the connections? Many of these issues are just due to a firewall in the way. Can you ping the server? Have you checked to see if all the ports are viewable via the web?.

If the connection is being made via <a class=\"postlink\" href=\"http://yourdomain.com:8002\"> yourdomain.com:8002 , you can check that in the browser. If it\'s working you will have a message that says this:

Ooops!
The page you requested has been obsconded with by knomes. Find hippos quick!
If you are trying to log-in, your link parameters should have: \"-loginpage http:///?method=login -loginuri http:///\" in your link

I tried <a class=\"postlink\" href=\" deluxe-estate.eu:8002/\ "> deluxe-estate.eu:8002/ and couldn\'t connect. But could connect to <a class=\"postlink\" href=\" deluxe-estate.eu/frontend/\ "> deluxe-estate.eu/frontend/ .

Not sure what you are talking about there. Shared hosting I take it? Plesk is a server control panel, I\'m not sure if you can open firewalled ports from Plesk or not.

Plesk is not the only one who gives ports free. For me it looks like the ports are still blocked by some firewall. As I\'m not that familiar with Win on server I cant be much of help, but I\'m sure there is some admin way to open e.g. port 8000-9000 at least for TCP connections.
