0.2.2 Map not Showing

Tried it on joomla 1.6,1.7 and 2.5 after installation of com_opensim the grid map returns empty and when i look in the menu list it shows this jOpenSim » com_opensim_maps_VIEW_DEFAULT_TITLE is there a simple fix for that?

Do you mean, this "com_opensim_maps_VIEW_DEFAULT_TITLE" is in the list for selecting the menue type (like help.jopensim.com/bilder/event_list/event_list01.png )? Or where exactly does this turn up?

An empty map is often an indicator for some missing or wrong global config parameters or that the OpenSim itself is currently down.

Hmm I have the same problem. Howver in he admin mnu the mapis shown and the tiles ar displayed in list mode.Using the Gridmap menu item the map is not shown ( jworld.begabungs.com )

Any ideas?

Your grid map IS showing but only with 5 pixels width and height ... probably not as wanted (see screenshot).



I make a wild guess and would say you have some wrong or unwanted settings in the map config for "Grid Map Width" and "Grid Map height". You find those settings in the administration "jOpenSim --> Maps --> upper right side: Map Settings".

Ahh ok I figured it out. Maybe it would be helpful if would say what unit (pixel / regions/ etc.) you expect in thosevfields.

sigh... I moved the complete installation to a new folder and domain and now tiles are shown, but all the show is a yellow "?"

Scratch my last post ..... Some setting I have not found must have screwed up everything. I reinstalled everything and now it works
