Error in Groups

I'm not understanding this issue I'm getting with the groups. I've completely removed the component and downgraded and still get the same error even when upgrading it again.

I ended up fixing the issue. In Joomla they recently changed the table collations and I changed to the new collation by adding a line in my.ini for MySQL. Exported and reimported the database and everything is working now.

and thanks very much for this information. Could you specify where this error turns up or where the collation issue is?

The strict behaviour of MySQL concerning collations is also an issue in the OpenSimulator database now and then. Where I found, I changed the query so that there is no need to change anything in the my.ini/my.cnf

If I could locate the query, I could add a fix in the next version of jOpenSim, which is currently under heavy development
