Hi aramil,
I guess I\'m just a lonely sole. If I had 200 friends I wouldn\'t know what to do with them all.

Maybe a \"friends\", \"acquaintance\", etc.. lists .?

. While the idea of pulling just who is online is an okay idea to reduce the queries for those not, I might suggest curbing how many queries pulled by reducing the amount of names listed. Normally, when such a list is quite intensive, it becomes a \"group\" function. And the group queries provides the information for whom is online and offline from in-world group accounts. A good length of list size for friends would be no more than 20. Certainly not 200 plus as you mentioned. I think your idea is good however, provided a toggle for showing \"just online\", or \"all friends\" being available from the front end. A dedicated hosting process or coding for allowing a dedicated server to host your friends list is just out of the question I\'m afraid.
